Basic Storm Chasing / Tornado Chasing Tours - Tornado Expeditions Information - A must read!

We are ultra exclusive: We currently accept 1 to 3 participants per year and the positions are filled quickly.

Superior success rate: In 2019 we had a 100% tornado intercept rate. Our standby chase option has a 100% tornado interception rate over the last 10 years.

Adventure-based team: Prior adventure or extensive travel experience is not required, but suggested. You will be interacting with an experienced team of professionals from medical,   tactical and adventure backgrounds.

You get what you pay for: Your view to some of the planet's most exciting weather occurs in the front seat of a genuine chase intercept vehicle. There are several excellent, van-based   tornado chase tour groups and we will be happy to refer inquiries. Some people do not mind this tornado chasing format. However, we cater to those discriminating individuals who prefer a   more professional, private and exclusive adventure, avoiding the crowded interior of a van filled with people you may or may not like for endless hours. We also lodge in the nicest hotels   available.

Avoid wasted travel days: Most storm tour companies have designated pick-up and drop off locations that cannot be changed. This means your actual chase days could be cut by 2-4 days   to allow for pick-up or drop offs. This extra travel time, often exceeding 500 miles per day can also be exhausting and dangerous. This is a major consideration. For those participants with the   ability to make last minute, in-bound and / or outbound travel changes, we can often avoid any lost chase days due to travel.

Severe weather guarantee: We do not want to take your money for nothing in return. In most instances we will refund your final payment if we cancel the entire expedition in advance due   to the lack of pursuable severe weather. A 50% deposit is required to hold a date. In most instances, this deposit cannot be refunded, but can be applied to future storm chasing dates on a   priority basis. (See basic terms of deposit listed below).
